The standardised WAS "plug and play" box body concept of the Toyota Land Cruiser WAS 4x4 Ambulance is particularly torsionally rigid and allows the greatest possible flexibility at low operating costs: Not only can individual panels of the box body be easily repaired, but the entire box body can be replaced and mounted on a new chassis. Depending on the size of the project, we can even supply only the box body to our local partners, who procure the basic vehicles locally.
To prevent wear and tear and to ensure safe hygiene, only nonorganic material is used in the body, which can withstand even the highest temperatures in 'super hot countries'. With integrated high-performance air-conditioning technology, the thermal box body protects the crew and patients from extreme heat. So far, the vehicle has already been used successfully in various countries and will certainly also be used in the demanding terrain of other continents of the world.
