This WAS 500 ambulance based on a Volkswagen Crafter chassis presents all established standards of the WAS brand. It combines the perfect use of space with highest requirements to security and technology. Rescue equipment and a carrying chair are both easily accessible from the outside storage compartment. In addition, a bag cupboard offers the possibility of removing two emergency cases or backpacks from outside of the vehicle. Ergonomics and safety are also considered in every detail of the interior. The patient compartment offers optimal sanitary working conditions and sufficient space for a comfortable treatment of the patient. The lighting and the special warning system have also been designed energy-efficiently. The new WAS Design warning system ensures greater safety thanks to improved visibility from the front and side. The optional assist systems Door Assist, Multi-Load Assist, SanSafe and Smart Check Mobile facilitate the daily work of the emergency service staff.
